My Latest Score

I won this on E-bay for $4.25 American ($4.68 Canadian). Better yet, the lady selling it lives in Burlington! Her house was only about 15 minutes from here, so I drove over to pick it up. No shipping charges - SWEEEEET!

Carrie,
You know this already, but I'm sure you want that junk out of your bloglist:

This comment is being sent to everyone on my bloglist or those that link to me, that I know of:

My blog got hijacked yesterday. (How, I don't know.) Please delete that from your list or you could change it to

Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience.

Blogger was really messing up yesterday and then was closed for a while. They must have got everything sorted out. Glad you can see the pic now. I have 3 other Moosewood books (not counting Mollie Katzen's original - that would make 4) so this is a new one to add to the shelf. I quickly flipped through it and the recipes I scanned over sound good.

Great score!

That was the cookbook that really and truly turned me on to vegetarian cooking, and I still use it often now that I've gone vegan.

Try the Fresh Spring Rolls paired with Mango, Cucumber and Coconut Salad. It doesn't require any cooking (except for softening the rice paper), so it's perfect for summer nights when you really, really, really don't feel like turning on the oven.
