Granted, this poll was only of 1000 Canadians in 3 provinces and there was a list of songs to choose from that was compiled by music journalists.

Once this was released, radio stations were having all kinds of phone-in's for people to add their favorites to the list.
What's yours?
I'm partial to G&R, Welcome to the Jungle or Nine Inch Nails, Only.

Hmmm...not bad songs, but probably good for group driving. We love Dave Matthews Band ourselves.
Those bambino eggplants we have are very seedy. We finally cut a couple open and were not impressed. Maybe we let them sit there too long. Oh well, I have other eggplant coming out of my ears anyway!

mines Raw Dog. pure unadulterated comedy.
but music, lately has been Rent. gay, i know but leave me alone.
Grateful Dead (since there are 3+ decades of shows that are mostly 4 sets long, good for road trips), Paul Simon is a good one as well as String Cheese Incident. I like jazz and bluegrass.
i agree with Leslie....Graceland would be on my list too.
Love that you love the hip. Is there a better band on earth?
"The nostalgic Bryan Adams track Summer of '69 is the top driving song among Canadians who sing in their cars, according to a poll released Tuesday."
Hahahahahaha, i love it, Carrie.
That's a great song and it is fun to sing and drive to.
I love to listen to Pat Benatar, Howard Jones and Rick Springfield when i'm drivin'...
Last night Peter and i went to a concert - Journey with Def Leppard. A sold out show, we sat in the parking lot and listened to some tunes from the '80s that you would've rocked out to just like we did!! Total fun...
we've been digging the beattles again lately -- revolver & st. peppers. i also like the unabombers, mushroom jazz, and new stuff!
If you are talking GnR, I've got to choose Sweet Child of Mine or NightTrain.
My driving music tends to run the gamut. My top pics are Eve6, Matthew Sweet, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
So hard! I would have to pick one of my fav songs I suppose!
Honestly, a great one is DJ Baby Anne : Drop the Bass. Great song, no lyrics.
The best driving song ever? She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult!
