Aunt Nellie

.

I had a call last week from my Aunt Nellie. She was going to be in the area and wanted to come see me. The last time we had a visit was when I went home for vacation 3 years ago, so I was really looking forward to seeing her. She was in Ontario with her friend Sheila. They both work at Albert Street school in Fredericton. They stopped by to pick me up and meet Simon and we went for lunch. What a great afternoon I had. We talked and talked and talked. She and Sheila are leaving in a few days for BC and lucky them - they're going to do some travelling in the Okanagan Valley! That's big wine country.
I'm so glad she made time to squeeze me in on her busy visit.

Hi Carrie, in response to your post on my blog, I'm in Ottawa. :)

Believe it or not, my raspberry bushes started out as two tiny little seedlings purchased at Canadian Tire two years ago for $6 each. Now they're 7 feet tall and close to the same width! They are definitely worth the investment.

Glad you had a nice visit! I always enjoy seeing my cousins and aunts/uncles. I think some people take it for granted. Not me.

Sorry you're working like a dog (where did that phrase come from anyways?)

Hope your weekend is good...you deserve it!

It's so nice to catch up with family. That's what I did the week I was in NY. Glad to see you got a chance to too..
